I’m hoping someone can help me diagnose the noise that my 1978 NA is making between 2900 and 3100 RPM. Above and below that range, everything sounds pretty normal. I don’t think it’s coming from the heat shields near the exhaust headers, and it’s not the belt guard either. Here’s a link to video: https://youtu.be/hFDcXUQDvEY (link fixed). Foe me it sounds like the first natural response of a thin metall piece or a bracket.Not engine related. Check for looser cable holders, loose screws at attached parts like AAV ect....
