|
|
I noticed that on Ebay, the factory interior rear view mirror for a porsche 924s goes from anywhere between 50-100 dollars depending on wear. Mine is relatively worn, but still in good condition. I was wondering if this is something that would hinder the resale value if I were to replace it with a smaller universal mirror. I could use the money to fix the dome light, buy the glass for the passenger side rear view mirror, and other small things like an air freshener, and a shifter knob cover. Do you think that it matters that I keep the original? _________________ 1987 Porsche 924s . Best First Car Ever |

My rear view is in bad shape, rattles and dimmer tab doesn't work. Most likely internally a mess. My thought is that keeping these cars original is now the way to go, unless you are tracking the car. The rear view is in obvious site of the driver, a non-stock rear looker would be a turn off for me, but I could easily change it out. I'd just be on the look out for other hacks if I were considering a purchase. If it's just for your own pleasure then save the bucks. _________________ Prev: '81 BMW 320i
