I would like to find someone in Midwest (usa) for head/valves , pistons/case
Other related engine work.
Will send various components as needed for machine work etc.
Also recommendations for just 200hp but probably no IC

Bart @ BTR is swamped till winter

What's your break point of what you want to do vs. what you want to farm out?

I have a machine shop here in town (Detroit area) run by a guy who used to play with 924s - both NA (ITA racecar) and Turbo (street toy). But I don't know if he's interested in actually building a motor up, or doing subassembly work - I've only been using him as a machine shop, and doing all my own builds.

But if all you were after was a machine shop, there's plenty in the Chicago area who can do that.

Have you considered KMR, Kelly Moss Racing? They've looked after some 924 NA and Turbo stuff, and are out that way...

Thanks for input….
I think my preference is to use a good machine shop familiar with 924 turbos …especially with your direct experience with the shop.
And do the buildup myself
I will send you a PM to discuss more details
Thank you
Frank
