Howdy,

New to board and 924T ownership. I'm rebuilding the engine. Anyone bought a rebuild kit recently? Need all the gaskets and seals, valve guides, and rings.

Any advice appreciated
Thanks
Larry

Excellent, good to hear; I saw a couple of parts on their website, but not a full kit, wasn't sure.

Keep in mind you may yet find you need pistons as well; excessive boost has been known to crack ring lands. Have to see how they come out.

If you do end up going down that road, definitely worth some research here about aftermarket pistons; stock are rare, whereas aftermarket are cheaper and can often be used to handle higher boost better... also we could go in 50/50 on an order of Diamond pistons if needed - since they do V8's, they always produce sets of 8 (or prefer to)...

And someday I'm really honestly gonna get around to intercooling, boosting, and Megasquirting my Turbo, so maybe I'll eventually need those.

Also on the line of suggested upgrades, you might consider ARP head studs and rod bolts. Upgraded mine with those already. Just keep in mind the ARP bolts do seem to want a higher torque spec than stock...
