With my GAZ rear shocks the spring is just intended to be a booster and the torsion bar still controls the ride height. I have put holes in the body and welded nuts to the t-bars so they can be pulled out without removing the T-bar carrier.

Is there a format for adjustment on the car o rdo I just measure where I am, figure the rotation I would need if using a torsion bar of the equivalent total spring rate, disconnect the shock and adjust it.

I'm not sure I understand your question, what are you trying to adjust exactly? Ride height, corner weight, damper settings or coilover perch height?

You might try knocking around around the Rennlist site for info on rear coil/torsion bar setups. I have seen a number of threads regarding your setup and full torsion deletes in the Watercooled 924/931/944/968 Forum through the years. Also the racing & turbo 944 forums have discussed this. I apologize that I don't have a specific thread to link but the Rennlist search is reasonably easy to use.
