I get a check engine light that comes on for a short time when the driving. It will not come on when just setting and the engine is running fast. It only comes on when the engine is about 2000 RPM's or more. Then goes right back off when the RPM's come down. I hear that it is possible to read light flashes to get the fault codes set in the DME. Some of you must have done this?

It is located in the lower portion of the tach and is an up arrow. I felt this may be the check engine light. Maybe not?

It's the fuel economy light, it lights when you could get better mileage by shifting up to the next gear.

Well, thanks again for setting us straight. I got this car not running and have now got it back on the road, but I know very little about it. It's nice to have people like you to help us. Keep up the good work.
