Hi.

One thing I didn't do I meant to do before the car was written off was take it to a weigh bridge.

Does anyone have the weight of the car front in kg's and rear in kg's.

Jus by driving each end on to a weigh bridge?

I thought this might be slightly different for different models and gearboxes.

Thanks.

We scale ours regularly; weights are in pounds:

Additional info... note that the scale numbers posted are without driver, gutted car with cage, approx 3/8 tank of fuel. Things even out side-to-side better with the driver installed.

Also note that we've typically found the racecar to be 49/51% front/rear bias, due to the lack of interior... whereas when I scaled my 82 931 ages ago I found it more like 51/49% front/rear - though at the higher weight with interior etc.

HTH...
