New flywheel has 1 sensor. Old flywheel has three. Now what?

Its a 1987 924S. The clutch was the rubber type and it wasn't so much wore out but the rubber had deteriorated. The flywheel looked be warped some so I ordered a new one. My friend (GM Technician) doesn't like aluminum. We believe it would bolt up but the two sensors are missing.

Upon further inspection the new flywheel is 10 and 15/16 inches and made of aluminum.

The original is 10 and 7/16 inches and appears to not be aluminum. It is magnetic. Technician is not a fan of aluminum.

Where do I buy the right one?

OEM is steel, not aluminum.

Any 944 flywheel will work on your 924S.

Keep in mind that you can typically resurface these flywheels once, and then they are done. Look at the shop manual and you will see what I mean.

You really only need one sensor point on your flywheel, as the second one is only used for the Por$che dealer TDC sensor.

You have a reference sensor that uses the sensor post, while the speed sensor uses the teeth on the starter ring.
