Even though pretty much any injector works with 924/931 when doing an EFI conversion, the nozzle still sits in a sort of tube left from long CIS injector. That harms driveability a bit.
Since I may be converting one 924 n/a to turbo some time in the future I was looking for injector that is bigger than 200cc or so (that most long-nose injector are usually).
Bosch 0 280 158 123 is 590cc, high-impedance and good for quite a bit of power on 924
These are actually OEM injectors for 997 Turbo for example and few others.

An easier and cheaper alternative are those from a Volvo with the turbo 1.9. They are 42lb or about 440cc injectors with the long nose. I drilled out some injector cups (don't know what car or injectors they were meant for, but they had the right thread) and the injector sits flush with the bottom of the injector hole. I got 8 at the junkyard for 20$. I then cleaned and flow tested and all was dandy.

Reman they go for around 40$ _________________ 1981 924 Weissach edition

Isn't 040 a CNG/LPG injector originally? Any issues? _________________ '83 924 2.6 16v Turbo, 470hp
