First off, thanks to the admins for this sight. I am a complete rookie in the Porsche dept. I love my 924. Haven't owned a vehicle that I've had more fun.

My issue is after getting a new ac compressor from partsgeek.com and talking the local GM dealership into some ac work, I had ice cold air. The fifth time I drove the gem with cold air (90 degree high humidity day), the cold air disappeared. I lost the freon and it appears oil has leaked from the compressor. Before this failure, I noticed my temp gauge creeping up to the point that I'd kill the ac, open the windows and turn the heater on high. The engine temp dropped, and I'd turn the ac back on. I believe my radiator fans are working properly, we jumped the pressure switch and the compressor kicked in . I believe I need to clean the radiator thoroughly. I have very good air compressors and a very good power washer.

So my questions: whats the best way to do a decent job of cleaning rad.

Whats with ac compressor failure.

Any and all advice is appreciated. TIA
