I have a 924S with water leaks. As a result, the seat slides have rusted. Since I can't slide the seats, I can't expose the bolts to remove the seats (and carpet etc.). Is there another way, short of destroying the seat bottom upholstery, to remove the seats? I think the bolts holding the seat bottom to the slides are inaccessible with the seat installed.

Thanks,
Tony

Some have used a scissors jack behind the seat to move it forward to get at those bolts. Put some lubricant on the rails and try that.

Good luck...

you put lots of loose nut and wiggle with it a bit, slowly you'll get it moving enough to reach the bolts.
Took me few evenings of playing with it to get it moving enough to reach them but with patience, anything can happen.

I ended up tying open the release lever and then climbing in the back seat and kicking with both feet.
