I'm working on wheel bearing adjustment on my 924S (among other things). The left side has the speedometer cable that comes through the bearing cap, held in place with an e-clip. Is there a trick to getting the cable back through the cap or does it just require a lot of patience? Seems to slide off to one side or the other then I have to start over. Thanks |

Tie a piece of fishing line to it and pull it through?
I usually just push on the cable from the back of the spindle while slowly rotating the wheel. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

I'll try flossing it. Thanks for the idea. |

Remove the grease cap first. Insert you tachometer cable and reinstall cap. Plenty of cable length available. Secure cable in cap. |
