Sorted out some parts tonight. Here is what's for offer :

4x 931 S2 pistons. 3 of them are in great shape but one has eaten some debris :

The sensor end of an S2 flywheel sensor. It was cut clean so is easily spliced :

2660 4.10 Turbonium :

Also have a bucket of 2664 4.10 turbos as well if anyone is interested.

931 wastegate :

Have an complete intake set up for sale as well. Don't have pics yet but includes everything to convert you S1 to an S2. Highly recommended for the quicker throttle response.

Pretty sure the Turbo is spoken for but the rest is up for grabs. Interested just shoot me an offer.

Hey Cedric,

Strange buddy but it won't let me PM you back. Keeps saying 'user not found'. I did get your PM though so just send me another one with an email address and I will chat with you that way instead.

The accent over the e will be your issue with pm. You need an é in Cédric.

I was actually trying to reply to his original PM. It would not allow this and told me his name doesn't exist...

BEST_DAY_EVAH !

Well maybe not evah but at least this year so far. The weather here was a balmy 9 deg C so I decided to put a day permit on Olive and do some sea trials. Weirdly, it has been 6 months to the day since she popped a brake line in Denver and I had to dolly her home on a Uhaul.

Got in, turned on the fuel pump, turned the key and she fires right up. Love you babe. Drive cautiously down some farm roads to get a feel for the motor and a feel for the car again. This is the first time I have driven her with a properly running fuel system. Turn a lonely corner, no one in sight, build up speed in second, shift into third and give her the beans............whooosh !!

Warp speed from 2800 rpm up to 6 grand, shift into 4th, still in boost and again to 6 grand and...decel. Smooth as a baby's bottom. So happy right now I cannot describe the feeling. I spent all of my summer months sweating my balls off to get her road worthy and buttoned up underneath mechanically only to get screwed by the 38 year old $.50 o-rings in the fuel distributor. Now, as the last piece of the fuel system puzzle, it is rebuilt and running perfectly. After 2 hours of driving every dial was where it was supposed to be. Oil pressure, temp gauge, volt meter etc. Perfect.

Today the fog rolled in off the Pacific. I live about 1 km from it so drove to the dyke and took a Morghen'esq photograph :

Now that I have a solid foundation to build on the future looks bright indeed. It may be a school night but F it, i'm having a drink.

Got a few gifts in the mail last week. First is a genuine CGT intercooler and support braket :

This I will put onto Olive once my new motor is done. It is +/- 2 years of her MY so it keeps me eligible for cheap insurance. Power Tryp is driving out from CowTown with an N/A hood for me to modify and put a CGT scoop on which is awesome. Also got an all alloy pressure plate from an '81 911SC for better clamping force and to let her rev waaaay quicker than she does now. Combined with a knife edged crank, 87mm factory Mahle 931 pistons, and complete S2 intake she is going to be one quick little car. I'm actually getting a bit excited now.

Anyone have a CGT style scoop for sale ?

Well it wasn't cheap ! I got it from a fellow 'Board member here that wanted some parts I had, as well, I shot him some shekel.

The turbo going onto the new motor is exactly the same as the one on her now, except it's brand spanking new. A 1979 6.10 turbo with the 2664 wheel. Pics are in another thread, it's got a perty mouth. . .mmm

She's going to be a screamer this one.

Nice, that will be a perfect turbo for 220-230hp, will be a great package. Whats the suspension set up on your car?

Nice!!

I'd aim for forged pistons (more resilient to det than cast, CGT and GTS used forged), 8.0:1 CR max and turn up the boost to 1.0bar. Add in some electronic ignition control. Mine achieved 225bhp at 1.0bar with a 2660 6.10 turbo. So Cedric's suggestion is near the money with a 2664 6.10.
