I ordered a package of crush washers (oil drain) similar to this one http://www.autoatlanta.com/results.php?partnumber2=Porsche%20924%20Crush%20Washer&narrowcar=924%201980-85
The page states it should fit, however it is much too small.

Any idea on the part number or size of the crush washer i need to change my oil?

Take the plug with you to FLAPS, I'm sure they can match it.

Part number N.043.854.1. But there's nothing magical about it. It is a simple 26x32 copper sealing ring. (26mm inner diameter, 32mm outer diameter). This is listed right in PET, illustration 101-10, callout #12.

And now for the shameless plug. You should buy one of these:

Belmetric has them but it is probably only worthwhile if you are ordering other stuff-or if your parts guy looks at you dumbfounded when you say "I need metric copper washers".
