She now has EFI! Full post coming soon. I want to work all the kinks out before I post anything.

What would you like to know?

You're all going to love it. Definitely need to suscribe for the updates. Lildude has kept excellent documentation on this build. It's well executed and the car is 99% there, just a few wrinkles to iron out with the EFI programming.

Didn't your mother ever teach you, when you ask for everything, you get nothing?

Ask me some questions, and I will be happy to answer.

Main issue I'm having before I do a similar EFI post is that "I think" (raceboy may disagree) I'm having computer related fuel cut issues. Once that is sorted out, and I get a few hundred more miles on it before it snows, then I'll do a full recap of the EFI. Sad to say though, Dan and I were working on it together to put the Ideola EFI kit together, and that may no longer be a thing. But if I can at least document everything I did, and what Raceboy provided, it may help quite a few other 924er's do a conversion.

So now you've mentioned the magic name 'Raceboy', I take it this is a VEMS based conversion?

I have all the VEMS gear ready from Raceboy but just haven't had mental capacity to finish the final leg on my own project due to a multitude of bad shit happening over the last 2 years. It will be continued very shortly though with any luck.

So , questions. Which injectors? Batch or sequential? I guess you went with front pulley mounted crank trigger (36-1)?

Fully documented how-to sounds cool - I do intend to do similar when mine finally gets finished.

Yes VEMS via Raceboy

WEASEL149 wrote:

Injectors: Siemens 60lb model: 107961

Batch. Doing Sequential would require a secondary trigger wheel on the camshaft, and I wanted to keep it as KISS as possible.

Correct.

Looking forward to reading the write up on this, but was wondering if it's worth while doing this upgrade if your CIS is operating normally?

Would this upgrade be strictly for more FUN factor or is it also for reliability?

Looking for justification points for the boss.

in lil'dudes case its a 'tad' different. He is running a Borg Warner EFI Turbo. Look closely at the Avatar

Of course, set up correctly you'll get reliability and with that fun. If your set up is stock and the CIS is running fine, I wouldn't bother.
