Thanks for the answer!
BTW, after a few years of not being on the road due to bad fuel pressure regulator and a bad pump. Now, it is alive.... sort of. Tell me if you think these might be causing an issue:

Obviously that cylinder is running very rich. This will kill gas mileage, reduce power, and dilute the oil with gasoline.
Time to check injector flow rates and check the system and control pressures. _________________ White 87 924S "Ghost"

they were all that way, but they were also that way prior to dealing with fuel pressure issues. |

40 mile drive today brought some success and a few issues to light.
Cold idle is a bit rough while full warm up idle is at 2000rpm.
Window on right side stopped going up/down today.
Power mirrors aren't working, might be a fuse.
Water from below the battery is probably the right front sunroof issue.
Didn't realize the rear seats didn't have seatbelts in 1980. Weird |

did lots of little work on the car today... then out for another spirited, back road, mountain pass run. Back toward home I stopped for fuel. Didn't want to restart easily. Now worries, almost home. Then, the last intersection to traverse it stalls and won't start in the turn lane. Shoving it out of the intersection without help and a big 4x4 snorting on my bumper the car gets away from me on a down slope and...

... a 4" thick pole and a curb help it come to a stop. Valance is also damaged.
The reason it stalled was the failure of a factory crimp clamp. Oh... about 4 gallons of fuel went on the ground.

Driving the car, now that the fuel supply is working, is great! I need to sort out why it is so cold blooded for the 1st 2 minutes. It goes pig rich when you try and give it gas to pull out until it warms. After that, it runs awesome! |

Headlights are now adjusted. whew! But, it is obvious I need to upgrade to halogens. These old standard bulbs are dismal.
A question, how rare is the LA3V paint? Also, how do I read my VIN to see what color it wore originally? I don't know if this is the OG color.
Thanks! |

Working on a/f ratios right now. Went from pig rich to a bit lean. Now working my way back to 14.7. |
