Got home yesterday to find the postman in my driveway dropping off a care package for me from Werk924 in Germany. About a month ago I custom ordered a set of black leather & Pasha Sport Seat covers and one of their new manufacture Gen 3 dashboards. They are beyond beautiful. So glad I pulled the trigger and ordered them for Olive. As usual Thomas is a gem to deal with. Polite, knowledgeable and excellent communications keep me coming back.

Love, love, love the stuff Thomas sells and just dealing with him in general. If anyone was on the fence it's time to jump off, I can vouch for the quality of the goods in person.

Yeah I am very happy with the choice to get these. Once I put in these parts and a new carpet set I got in a parts lot and some new gauges and a NOS heater control set she will be brand new inside. Not cheap I will admit but once Olive gets collector plates here my insurance for a year will drop to $300 from the current $1400.

I need to do the seats in my car too. Can you post a link so that we can window shop and see what the costs are? Also are you redoing the padding for the seats or just the outer covers?

Here is a link to the website. It just shows some of the cloth available though so for pricing of actual covers you will need to contact Thomas and tell him exactly what you want so he can give you an accurate quote.

http://www.werk924.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=16&Itemid=26

Even if something isn't listed on the website just ask him and he can usually source it. My Pasha cloth wasn't listed and I offered to buy it elsewhere to send him but then he got restocked so I didn't have to.

Is it grey or black? Same kind of foam squishy feel or hard plastic feel?

It has a very modern car feel. It is a high quality black vinyl (?) material that looks to have been heat molded to a hard material backing. It really does almost seem like a factory dash. It is not just a recovered old dash ,it is brand new manufacture and everything, including the metal struts and brackets, is of top quality. This is what Thomas called the V.3 dash and it is black with the same grain pattern as the original.

To be honest I looked at buying a new Porsche dash in 2004 when you could still buy them new and was quoted $1300ish pre-tax dollars. This one cost me about $2000 Cdn. delivered to my door ($300 tax, $1700 for the part) and I will guarantee it is better quality that the old Porsche molded ones.

These types of niche companies will only be around for so long. It's just how the markets work, we all know that. If you plan on putting any kind of money up to actually restore a car then don't hesitate to get one of these while you still can. If you don't then expect to do the forehead slap of shame a year or two down the road knowing you missed out...
