Over the years I've seen references to an easier way of finding past posts, utilising Google, I believe.
Of course, using the above Search Function hasn't revealed anything! It just frustrates the hell out of me with time wasting and inappropriate reams of posts.
What's the answer, Oh Learned Brethren?

What are you looking for? Selecting, " Search for all terms" can eliminate a load of posts if you remember specific content. If you remember an author that helps too.

Yup, don't use the search function.

Google advanced search is your friend and everybody regardless of here or facebook or anywhere should learn how to use it.

https://www.google.ca/advanced_search

and once you get that under your belt you should come to realize that you don't have to go to that specific page, instead just input "site:924board.org" sans quotation marks after your search term and google will filter that for you.

Green tartan interior, you don't see that on a Civic.

Yeah, thanks guys.

Well right there is the trouble.....I read everything, and then can't remember in which post I read it.

I need to figure out how to bookmark a section or print off a section without getting the whole post.

I'm searching for items I read on testing electrical gremlins on 931, so it's off to Mr Google now.

Copy the good stuff and paste it into a word document on your computer. When you get alot of it you can print it out, 3 hole punch it and put it in a binder for later. Over time you will have your own personal library that you never could have bought.

Most browsers can create folders and sub folders in their favorites. You can bookmark notable threads and categorize them as you please

Hey Pete, yeah same issue here.
Remembering the author really narrows it down considerably though. In this case it was "Scorpio". Wonder how he and his car are going?

Was this the thread?

Thanks RM and RC. Just printed that out.

Scorpio? Who? Oh you mean that bloke who gets around covered in baby oil surrounded by a bevy of sassy islander girls. No wonder he's got no time for his poor old Toofah.

So Rc, exactly what State are you in now?

And what happened to your mate on the Gold Coast who was doing the GT body kits?

Needs to be updated. Search terms should be "SCORPIO IS AN OLYMPIC LEGEND".

Alan - haven't heard from him in many years. Think he got rid of his 24 and moved on to EVs, RVs and retirement.
Stu - caught up about 2 years ago now, he was working on his V8 install, house and home brew. The home brew worked well, maybe too well. Was following his progress here but see he hasn't updated for a year.

Still have property in CH and QLD, and usually get up to Hervey Bay (and Fraser Is.) at least once a year. Must try make some time to catch up with you SE QLD guys.
