Hi,

I've been around some time in the transaxle world.
Used to own a 944,944S, 944 turbo.
All sold them and now I own 2 931 an a 924 carrera gt.
Talking with a tuner in Finnland to buy his 924 with 944 turbo 16v engine with 500 hp to build a 924 GTP tribute with some real bad ass power.

My first 924 turbo is a press introduction model with the red blue tartan interior. My second 924 turbo is in grandprix white with standard Lsd.
Also my 937 has standard lsd.

I'm planning to sell my 924 carrera gt, It's a cool car but enjoy driving the 931's more as they are less powered so more easy to drive with.

How i got my two tone 931?
I bought it in Sweden and I drove it back 2800km as a maiden trip.

I bought my white 931 from a guy that used it for his wife as a daily.
She never got it over 3000 rpm so it's really fresh.
Now i'm rebuilding the transmission and a new gas tank.

Greetz,

icepo

Hi Johann,

if you are planning to come to interclassics Brussels this weekend, let me know.
I'm there with my 924 carrera gt and with a friends 944 turbo cup(raced by the only female pilot in the 80's.

Welcome to the board.
Nice story and nice cars.

I also own a two tone silver over blue 931 with red tartan interior.
I have a GTS spec 924 but i also prefer the 931 for its less power and narrower body.

My two tone is silver and minvera blue but original red and silver.
If your is an original two tone in blue than it has to be helios blue?

Oh my god !
This must be the first time somebody(other than me) with a silver + minerva blue 931 posts on the public forums..that I know of.
Also now that I know of your car I can say that I have found a total of three 931s with this color combination.
yes, that's right. my 931 is original silver + blue + red tartan.

From what i remember from my research some months ago.
minverva blue never existed in two tone.
It was helios blue and silver.
Mine was origininally red and silver.
In the 80's it had a repray at a porsche dealer(colour code stickers are genuie porsche)

Have you checked your chassisnumber and color codes?
It is possible that they exist originally in silver and minverva blue.
But never heared about it.

Diamond silver and Minerva blue were never offered together by Porsche as a standard package. But even sliver + helios blue is very rare.

Nope you won't find it on a website.
It's on some forums, that's it.
rebuild engine and transmission, service history, new timing belt, waterpump in 2015, interior perfect condition,...
I can talk about it for hours.

I want to find an enthousiast for it.
Will it take longer to sell it?
Ow yess but i don't mind taking it for a spin every now and then.
I don't need to sell it but if there's someone out who has more time to drive it, why not. I have 6 cars for the weekend so not easy to give them all some driving time.
But i think that managing 6 cars is more easy than having 6 wifes

My 931 partscar was Minerva blue over silver, so opposit than yours and Morghens, it was car number 499 from 1979.

The car was totally silver but when I took the carrera wheel arches off, it was Minerva blue on the top of the car and silver at the buttom underneath the silver paint.
