It seems to me these CIS pumps are capable of much more than most EFI pumps.. _________________ 80 Turbo - Slightly Modified |

Thats a downgrade from your 40 years old pump original pump puts out about 6 bar and flows 300 L/h...even an old one should still do pretty similar...while that efi pump can only do 3bar and 195L/h but it will be sufficient for EFI.
Not everything new is "upgrade" also check if that new pump is ok with ethanol..normally it should be but check it for being safe. _________________ https://www.the924.com |

No need to upgrade the pump unless you go for a lot of power or E85 and want something that is certified to handle that. _________________ /Magnus, Stockholm Sweden

The pump in your link was also an in tank pump, unless you want to do some serious mods to the fuel tank you want an in line pump. Not that common anymore. _________________ /Magnus, Stockholm Sweden

Walbro makes nice fuel pumps, plenty of fuel capacity in that one. I got a walbro something in one of my 911s.
In my other 911 (EFI with ITBs ) I still use the original k-jet pump from 1977 with 270.000 km on it. _________________ /Magnus, Stockholm Sweden
