Hey, anyone else out there that has or is building a 924 or 931 for road racing... stop in and say hi on the 944Cup forum:
http://944cup.zeroforum.com/zeromain

Right now I'm the only 924 racer on there, and it looks like I'm going to be the first 924 to run in the series, if things continue at their present rate!

Not gonna spank anyone other than some bad drivers in stock 944's, but will likely gain a bit of respect!

I'm in the process of building my car now for this series. It's an 88 M030 car that is coming along - interior is gutted and getting ready for the cage.

Cool - made plans yet for the suspension, or are you planning on using the M030? Personally I'd recommend selling the M030 outright and starting from scratch with race parts - but that's just me!

I'm starting from scratch with the suspension. I got it as a tub and am bringing it back to life. I have gathered all the suspension pieces and bushings ready to be put in.

Chuck,

I;ll make you a whale of a deal on a bunch of race parts! Over $18,000 worth of parts for $11,500 (oh by the way its race ready!). But seriously, I am considering parting the 924S race car.

Thanks. Actually I was going back to the boards by using the back button and it caused me to double post. As you can see it took me a few times to figure out what was doing this - operator error.

It look like were going to be the second to run in the 944 series. I'm most likely going to run at Summit Point on November 2-3.

Hey, Jeremy, I figured out that Volvo in the picture you sent me (of your Dad passing him). Yes, it's one of the Volvos from Hell. However, not the usual driver. It's a very fast car, but was sold at WOR Games, so that was probably the new owner perhaps in his first outing in the car!
