Look what I bought this past Sunday.
It's a 1923 Ford Roadster (Model T). It comes with the wooden stake bed that you see, as well as the correct "turtle shell" rear deck lid that can be swapped on after removing the bed. It has a convertible top, and the car starts right up and drives. Reverse is a little weak, and the brakes don't inspire confidence, but this should be really fun to tool around the farm in!
It'll probably end up just being an expensive lawn ornament, but it was too cool to pass up. We saw a car show at the fairgrounds right here in Woodstock,I popped in just to look at all the cool cars. This one was in the for sale section with a sign that said "Must Sell Today, Not Taking it Home. Make Offer". So I did. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

Don't worry about that, I don't think you'll be going very fast
Joke aside, how fast this thing can go? _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD

Cool indeed. Very nice addition to the farm.

You just have to plan your stops well in advance. I've driven a few Model T's and stopping power ranged from just less than adequate to downright scary. _________________ '81/'81/'82

Great car, I've been on the decision to also buy one a couple of years ago. Especially because it's the first car build on an assembly line, so unique piece of car-history.
Is it the orignal colour? They where delivered in every color as long as it was black, isn't? _________________ 911SC - 1980 |
