Anyone know how to refit the cam belt cover. I wrestled with it to remove it to change cam belt and fix stat housing leak.
Driving me crazy!!

If it's driving you crazy, you're doing it right...you just need to suffer a bit longer.

When I bought mine, the cover was off. Is there a trick to getting it on?

There may be a trick I am not aware of, but as I recall there was a bit of trial and error of pushing and pulling and trying to slip it on from different angles, some finesse and some brute force involved, but it should slide back into place without bending or gouging anything too bad.

Be patient and persistent, don't recall any sledge hammers or two foot pry bars needed to force it back. Good Luck!

Thats about right

You can actually do a nasty cut to the timing belt if you're insistant.
Either trim it to fit or remove everything in front of it to install it.
