Was curious if it was possible to swap a 4age engine into the 924.
So I searched and found this.

What clutch combination would work with this.

There's two clutch sizes for this 200mm and 212mm depending which fly wheel is used.

Anyway, you need to adapt a 4age bell housing to the Torque Tube. This might help get you started:

Then you'd use the 4age flywheel and starter.

As for the clutch disc, it depends on whether you have a 924NA or 924 Turbo/944 Torque Tube because the splines are different.

The 924 Turbo/944 uses a more common clutch spline so it's common to use Chrysler V8 clutch discs there.

The 924NA uses a clutch spline more commonly shared with early Audi's, so the selection is smaller, but an 88 Coupe Quattro should be larger in diameter and with the proper spline.

Everything else will require fabrication.

Another good forum to look at: http://944hybrids.forumotion.com

The housing is pretty common in the junkyard.
1.6 corollas or 1.8 celicas.
Also I have a 924 turbo.
That's 23 splines 1" diameter correct?

Yes, that should be correct.

BTW, have you seen this?

A bit more straightforward swap with more power potential.

I've seen that.
It's hard to come by a 7A or AAN motor since they are rare.
Mostly 10vs are available.
Leaning towards a 1.8t or the 4age/4agze (mr2 motor)

10v block + reman AAN/7A/3B cylinder head.

Check Motorgeek.com they have a great for sale section.

I just bought an AAN intake and fuel rail for $120 shipped.

Car-part.com is another site for searching salvage yards for specific parts.
