|
|
Managed to get to work earlier today to have some time to buy little necessary things for my car after work.
One thing i was going to get was a silicone tubing between the throttle body (stock), and the ic piping. Forgot to measure it though, and the car is 50 kilometers away.. Does someone have any idea, or possibility to measure how big tube do i need?

Go to my downloads page: http://garage.ideola.com/top-Downloads.html
Second section under the "More Tools..." heading, there is a link to a spreadsheet with throttle body comparison, should have the data you need. _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |

I measured 80mm for the rubber flange on an NA throttle body. _________________ 1979 924 NA race car H-Prod SCCA

Seems to be around 80mm. Circumference is around 25cm, resulting in 79.5mm diameter. I had no soft tape measure, so had to measure it with a metal wire and then against metal ruler, so most likely circumference is something like 24.8.
No idea if the local dealer tells the inner or outer diameter of the tube, but they seem to have everything in the stock from 75 to 80, so today i'll go there with the throttlebody
E: If someone is looking at this the 80mm was wrong. It might be tight enough on NA application with a tightened clamp, but it's a lot easier to just stretch a 3"/76mm one to the tb. The correct size would most likely be 77-78mm.
