yes I read this very interesting article and my options are thwo:
specific koni or bilstein yellow (the best choice but expensive considering value and power of car)
early 944 upgrade, first and easyest solution, but I have to change only shock absorber ? And if I want lower 15mm my car, it's possibile with this configuration ? _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

Koni's provide adjustability so you can soften them for the street and stiffen them for the track. You can get strut inserts for your existing strut housings. No need to use 944 struts unless you're fitting brakes and struts from an 86 944 turbo (951/952)

Lowering the front end is separate from the use of the 944 parts for the brake conversion. You'll need to buy lowering springs for the 924/early 944 to lower the car properly.
The rear end is adjusted via the torsion springs and how they are installed, so the 944, 951 or 968 torsion bars can be fitted and ride height set where desired.
The rear sway bar from the 924/944/951/968 can be fitted.
The front sway bar from a 944 will not fit without fabricating mountings and linkages. _________________ Stefan

You can keep the 924 suspension and lower the car. You only need lowering front springs and you have to re-index the rear torsion bars(you have to do the same if you install 944 suspension).
If you install 944 suspension you also need 944 brakes(also change the fluid, new disks and pads) and 5x130 wheels(and tyres) so its more cost and work. _________________ https://www.the924.com |

No, I don't want change even bracke and wheels, then I have to keep 924 suspension.
I have no other choice, koni and lower spring. _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

Anyone know if stock position of eccentric bolt is set to maximum height ?
If so I can buy 20mm lowered spring and regulate eccentric. Thanks _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

Maybe adjust the torsion bar whilst you're at it... _________________ 1981 ROW 924 Turbo -

That is a great question. Incredible it has never been discussed on this board until now. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Ok thanks, but my question is if standard position of eccentric is set to maximum height, if not but for example 5mm lower I can't install 20mm lower spring only changing eccentric bolt. _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro
