Which eccentric? The rear? How about you go a look at it?
The front camber adjustment will have plenty of adjustment and if not, your alignment shop can use "Crash bolts" to gain more adjustment.
US Cars came with the rear suspension set a bit high to solve bumper height issues, the ROW cars shouldn't, but who know what has been done over the decades since the car was built?
Worst case you have to drop the rear sub assembly and adjust the torsion bar carrier. It isn't terribly had to do, just a bit daunting the first time. _________________ Stefan

it's possible to recalibrate and cut original dampers (+ lower spring) for better sport performances and reduce roll ?
Anyone has tried this route ? Results ? _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

This isnt wrc or f1. You buy lowering springs and you re-index the torsion bars. You move on with your life enjoying a lower stance of your vehicle. _________________ https://www.the924.com |

Cut? As in open the existing struts and alter them? It's been done, but it really requires a good amount of knowledge, skills, tools and trial and error to determine what changes help.
Stiffer shocks and struts have no bearing on body roll. They only control the rate at which body roll occurs. Spring rate and overall weight plays a larger factor in body roll combined with the roll center and the amount of grip.
All sorts of things are possible. Just buy the proper parts and install them. _________________ Stefan

Then I can install 20mm lower spring and lower rear 20mm from eccentric bolt, but originals dumpers work correctly in this configuration ?
I have not to stiffen my dampers ? _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

Hello,
can I install on My NA only rear sway bar of 931 and front none?
Or it's better to install both 931 sway? _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

Dude, read this:
http://924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=25795
Read it again.
Read it a third time for good measure.
Dan spent hours and hours I am sure compiling data. Every possible question you can have related to 924 performance improvements is there.
If the mounting points are there for sway bars (almost all 924 variants except very early NAs came with them, I believe), then any sway bar from a 924/944/968 should bolt up, I believe.
There have been many builds of these cars and a lot of smart people doing them. Many have been well documented and pictured. All the information is here, just do some research first. |

I bought both sway bar from a 931 for about 180 euro.
Now I try to install them, before I install only rear bar and test my car.
Then I install even front bar and go test car.
I will update for describe driving impressions. _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro

If there is a difference its close impossible to feel in the car. I swaped the 931 shocks in to the 924 1979 na when i isntalled coilover/28mm storsion bars on the 931 (because they were bit better condition). Feels very similar, and they both have exactly the same diameters on sway bars, and front springs+torsion bars. But i think the rear sway bar was still and option in 1979 on the na cars?? _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

on 924 sway bars can be a option on road, on track it seems to drive a motorboat without them. _________________ Porsche 924 2.0 na 125hp (1979) euro
