since my original fenders where rotted away in the bottom I changes them for some used 87 fenders.
to my surprise, it seems that the 87 ones have more defined lines in it and are also a bit wider (maybe 0.5 inch above the wheel).
They have more of a bulging form than my 79.
Was this a documented change in Prosche 924 history.
Keep in mind that unless you have both fenders laying next to each other you would be hard pressed to noticed the difference as I never saw it until I started installing the fenders. _________________ 1979 924 NA |

Fascinating question, and I suspect you might only be able to tell with the fenders off of the car? But it would not surprise me if it turned out to be the case, perhaps to accommodate slightly wider wheels up front on the 924S models? _________________ erstwhile owner of just about every 924 variant ever made |
