Hello, I ahev been looking for Strut Tower Bearings to replace the tired ones on my 87 924S but am having a difficult time finding them. Does anyone have any suggestions as to who might carry them? I have tried Automotion, Pelican, prestige and The Parts Bin thus far. Thanks, MRG. |

Why don't you try an authorized Porsche Dealer. Many of them are offering a discount from Porsche "List Price". Get a copy of EXECLLENCE Magazine, and phone the Porsche Dealers advertising a toll-free phone number.
The Porsche Parts & Tech Manual calls the bearing that you are looking for a "Support Bearing", not a "Strut Tower Bearing". This could affect whether a Part Counter Person can find what you are looking for. Since the bearing is an integrated part of the rubber "strut mount" or "strut bushing", it might not be listed as a "bearing" in an aftermarket auto parts supplier parts manual.

Other than Paragon Products, I have only found the dealer to carry them. Prices seem to be comparable between the two. Paragon can be found at:

I just replaced the whole tower thing. with the 4 bolts that mounts on the top o the shock...I put the one from the 968 on because it is supposedly stiffer. I like the way it handles now, but I did new shocks, and many many other things
