Rare I post in this section...

Yeah the webcam is quite useless but the phone camera is absent.. You'll get better pics with it further along soon enough..

I kindof "jeweled" its face some on the drill press like you do to rifle bolts, by eye so its not 100% perfect, it's going to get holes cut in it anyway so you won't be able to tell... Its a stainless tank cover off of an old BUNN coffee pot that gave up the ghost, I have enough coffee pot for one more...

I'm going to go to the HD and get some soft steel bolts (+ WG studs) about the same OD and length of the OEM grille mount pins when the subie gets back, chrome cap nuts for the face and regular nuts to tighten the other side..

Soft bolts so I can install them straight to the plate and bend them on the bottom to the angle of the mount pins on the plastic grille..

This will be for gauges and MBC knob..
I dont want any radio/speakers in the Porsche (Subie is all rockford T1 inners and 2 P3 12's on a 1600w kicker amp maxed out at 1 ohm so plenty in that car), need to find something to replace the Blaupunkt CD radio that I think doesn't work so I can get it out of there without leaving an ugly hole, and remove the electric antenna which works perfect and can be sold if you want it..

Well I went to the HD store today to get the bolts, I picked out some nice full brass bolts with round topped heads slotted for a flat screwdriver, I think the brass heads will look great and bend even better than the softest steel bolts..

This will also save me from having to buy $1.75 ea !!! chrome cap nuts for the face, brass bolt heads instead...

But they scammed me so hard on longer WG studs I didn't bring enough money ($20) for 4 studs and 4 brass bolts at $1.75 ea for the brass bolts..

The 4 WG studs and 2 extra grade 8 nuts for them was a whopping $16.XX something total and I HAD to have those NOW so they took priority and I gave in to there racket...

I'll get the brass bolts some other time...
