Hello all, and thank you for reading
So this only just started to happen...
Scenario:
I'm driving along and whenever I accelerate pretty hard, the battery light comes on. The harder I stamp the gas pedal, the more brighter & intense the battery light illuminates and will stay on.
As soon as I let off the gas pedal, the light goes out.
Anyone experienced this before?
Hoping it's something like voltage regulator, so I'll test alternator output.
thanks all,

Hi Tiny,
I did. One or more diode(s) in my alternator was/were shot. I first suspected the voltage regulator also, changed it against a new one, no change.
Eventually I used my multimeter to check the voltage reaching the alt light from the alt, a whopping 17 volts.
A replacement alt did the trick.
HTH
