SAE 20W-50 would be ideal. Your engine needs 6.87 Qts.

Oh boy, oil thread!

I recommend LiquiMoly 5w40 for a street driven 2.5.

Hi,
Does anyone tried to use Porsche Classic 10W60 in transaxle? I know it is advertised for aircooled ones but when it is recommended for 959, 993TT etc I think it should do the job in 924S...
Any feedback?

924S has an Audi-based gearbox. I would use Swepco 201

Guaranteed to destroy your transaxle in very short order.

I use Redline MTL.

Swepco worked better in my Audi boxes than the Redline MTL.

Redline MTL worked better in my Porsche dogleg box.

Sorry to all of You. Lack of proper English. By transaxle I meant our transaxle family - to be precise - engines...
