SAE 20W-50 would be ideal. Your engine needs 6.87 Qts. _________________ MOD

Oh boy, oil thread!
I recommend LiquiMoly 5w40 for a street driven 2.5. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Hi,
Does anyone tried to use Porsche Classic 10W60 in transaxle? I know it is advertised for aircooled ones but when it is recommended for 959, 993TT etc I think it should do the job in 924S...
Any feedback? _________________ Browar

924S has an Audi-based gearbox. I would use Swepco 201 _________________ Stefan

Guaranteed to destroy your transaxle in very short order.
I use Redline MTL. _________________ Toofah King Bad

Swepco worked better in my Audi boxes than the Redline MTL.
Redline MTL worked better in my Porsche dogleg box. _________________ Stefan

Sorry to all of You. Lack of proper English. By transaxle I meant our transaxle family - to be precise - engines...
