Need help with bits 11 and/or 11a in the below capture from the 85 PET:

This weird little gem is basically an adapter that allows the light to be mounted in the 924 bumper. They use the same light in the 944 without an adapter.

If someone could post detailed pics and/or measurements, I am trying to evaluate whether one could be easily fabricated. Apparently they are different right to left.

IIRC they are a rubber bit for looks only. Could be wrong, haven't had mine off for awhile.
the screw 14 comes in from L or R depending on which side of the car.

Besides looks (it covers four screws) these weird little rubber gems have the difficult task to defend the lenses from obstacles that want to harm your precious…
I have spares and could post detailed pics and measurements (metric) of this in 24hrs.
Cheers.

OK, I can see 11a as a trim piece, but 11 must be part of the aux light mounting.

I'm working on refurbishing the front bumper of my 931 so i've just last night looked at these parts.

11 is a rubber trim piece with a screw trough its side and a metal strip/clip inside(13) used on euro models.

11a is a part for the cars that came with bumper shoks...so i guess US models. You dont need 11a, you need 11 for your euro look bumper.

Haven't seen a Euro 924 with a part listed as 11a. PET lists it as M058 option or a part of it. Don't know what that option code means.
Part #11 is a little rubber piece that covers aux light and turn signal mounting screws. It mounts directly on a #9 (you can see a mounting hole) with a screw #14 and clip #13.

Some light on the buffers;

The two down are the opposite side.

Lenght: 8,4 centimeter
Width: 3,6 cm
Max hight: 2,7 cm
I'll put these in a drawing.

I was just looking for part #11 for my euro bumper.

I believe 11a was for cars shipped to Japan (I think...). I thought 11 just screwed into the side of the driving light and wasnt used to mount the light.

I talked to a wrecker in England about shipping but never pursued the pieces. Anyone have any #11's for sale?

OK, still working through this. . .

Can somebody with a ROW 924S check their bumper and see if this part is there? It is NOT in the PET.

11 is present on all euro 924's, not just S. It is just screwed onto the hi-beam light and may provide some protection against breaking the glass if you hit something but the mounting tab will surely break sooner on the light itself because it is made of some soft silumin or similar.

Never seen 11a.

Don't think so. 944 has a plastic frame piece around the lights. The picture matches the 11a from the PET illustration.

I have #11 on mine. They look better than 11a. I bought mine from a yard in the UK. I just e-mailed them with what I wanted and they shipped it to me here in the states.

They are what Harm has in his picture. I believe they fit early 924's.
