| It's possible only due to a wrong adjustment of the co that the engine have no power when warm and car don't move? |

No.
Check your ignition timing?
Is your advance in working order?
You need to find ‘the sweet spot’;
The balance in timing and fuel mixture…
Earlier on you mentioned a weak spark;
Make sure the engine makes good ground to close the electrical circuit.
An extra ground strap might help. _________________ Porsche 924 NA 1982 LY7A/A3A3 _ Greater driving pleasure never harmed anyone. |

I checked valve timing, the mark on the valve cover is aligned to the flywheel and crankshaft is aligned to second mark (clockwise).
Ignition time is set by mechanic recently.
Today I check ground.
And the fuel filter may be the problem?
When engine is cold It run well. |

Did he/you use a Timing light to watch the dot on the back of the Camwheel move while you open the throttle?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timing_light
You say everything is in line but when the engine runs it should be a bit out of line; See what ‘moves’ on the flywheel pointing the light at the inspection hole too. Don't remember exactly but IIRC you'll notice -10 (minus ten) lighting up in combination with firing at number one. When it is a 0 (zero) the engine isn't producing any horse power…
Make sure everything is air tight to create vacuum that will move the plate and bring more fuel etc. etc.
Before you replace the fuel filter, take all the (old?)gas out the tank by taking out the intank pump. Clean up the bottom that sits under the intank pump before putting it back in and make sure the attached filter is clean.
Blow out the fuel lines, but don't put too much pressure on the accumulator (taking the lines of the accumulator can be a PITA).
Is your engine smoking blue smoke by any chance? The faulty spark plugs sound like it's using/burning oil. _________________ Porsche 924 NA 1982 LY7A/A3A3 _ Greater driving pleasure never harmed anyone. |

I've done these tests, I do not know what to do.
Some time ago I found the pipe black over the plate dirt inside I think oil, can mean something? it could also be the oil filter dirty?
The sound of engine when not accelerate well is metallic sound.
But I did not see blue smoke, the machine turns on and at engine cold there is power and the engine runs well, after 3 minutes, when the engine is warm It turns bad, sometimes It accelerates, sometimes not.
if the problem is only at engine warm, it may be a mechanical problem?
If yes, the only solution is to open the engine. |
