Had a blast today at the track with Ed.
Here are some pics of his 924 and a video screaming around the track.

At 7:00, you can see a brief contest between my 924 and a 997 GT3. Guess who wins Knife to a gunfight, you might say.

Now before you go hatin, just keep in mind I have a few over 100hp and he has more than 500hp, or something like that. Personally, I think my car *sounds* great..., and if you can't be fast you might as well sound kewl. And if you watch his mirrors, you can see I pretty much stay with him until the bridge (I get by the white car too , then all is lost as he turns on the afterburners for the main straight...

Its long, its boring and interesting only if you want to watch some poor guy in a 924 get passed nine million times by people with horsepower while using only two gears.
ENJOY!

Nice track. Looks like fun. reminds me a little of Mid-ohio here in the states.
But, at the end there I was yelling "SHUT IT OFF SHUT IT OFF" at the screen. Those bangs were not healthy. Threw a rod? |

Even Mid-O's tough with straights for a '24, unless you got some legs like the #77!
Waterford's definitely kinky enough to make the Toofah happy... _________________ Vaughan Scott

A little locking pin worked itself out in the diff, with a resulting cog salad inthere. He was not happy since it was the first heat of the day and first and only trackday for that 5spd gear box... Better luck next year
Are there any really twisty tracks in the us? Will Google the Waterford track _________________ 1980 924 Turbo

Laguna Seca, Sears Point, Oregon Raceway Park, Virginia International, Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio are the ones that I could think of off the top of my head.
Not too mention Pike Peak, Tail of the Dragon and countless roads along the east and west coast mountain ranges. _________________ Stefan

Here's a glimpse of Waterford Hills; 13 turns in 1.4 miles, barely 2 cars wide:

Of course, that's from the dash of the relatively slow #77 (with Merritt driving, fighting for the lead in ITB). Here's at the speed I'm taking it these days:
