The wheel in the link doesn't seem to be an exact replacement, at least not if you look at the part numbers. But yes, since the wheel i have have a small dent i will change the wheel, and it will be a billet impeller, more info about that later this week if the starting price wasn't so high i would design a custom wheel together with some colleagues. But funds only allow of the shelf stuff..

Turbo work is ongoing at a slow pace..

I have been installing a schroth clubman asm harness, finally! So now i can easily switch between std belt and harness depending on use. I have actually driven the car a bit as well, and it's still such a fun car, cant get enough even after all these years

I will order it soon, had some trouble with the axle, the 2470 turbine shift is shorter than the later ones. Although it has the same part number in the kkk catalogue. Will have to trim the wheel a bit to get enough room for the compressor nut.

I have lots of things to do with the new house, so car stuff is going slooow. Even though I have 6weeks of vacation this summer, it's still not enough.

Went over to Joakims garage to check out his car (The 440hp 924 turbo) and also buy is old intercooler, the end tanks looks crap flow wise(designed to clear a 951 radiatior, which suites me perfectly), but it worked well when he ran about 400hp, so should be fine for my low power levels, i can probably live with the added pressure loss since im going up in compressor size.

Which decade will this be installed? Who knows, i still have the clutch issues, which drags this project down..

Seems to fit fine with my alu radiator, will probably be a pretty high performing cooling package..

Oh nice, i have to do this on my red 924 as well as the cooling system is at its limit. I cant hold it at high loads for long unless its a cold day.

It has been ok for a couple of years (im talking about track driving now, street is never a problem), but the last outings I have been struggling a bit. Changed thermostat, fan thermostat and bled multiple times but cant really come back to were I was before. My radiator is in pretty bad shape so I thought it was time to change it, and since im planning on more power and an IC that is blocking the flow I thought its time for something bigger aswell.

I need to upp the cooling performance of my IC and while i'm there i might just as well replace the radiator...and while i'm there i might just as well replace the clutch.

Rad is the same as mine Wes, circa 56mm from memory.

How long have you been running that rad? Is it robust? That's my only concern, welds are pretty brute, but seems pretty good value for what you get.
