I was sick of looking at nasty trim so I kept dipping stuff. The door handles are wearing a little bit but it has been 3 months. The spoiler turned out really well. However, if you spray this stuff on rubber that is porous I dont think it comes off, atleast I couldnt rub it off. Which is good since I like the way the spoiler looks. The windor trim turned out really well and I didnt have to remove any of it which is wicked since it bends really easy. The side body bumper strips turned out good too. The only thing is that any deep scratches or chipped paint wont be covered, the ridges show thru the dip but it is way better than before.

Thank you for doing this, I was wondering how the rear wing would take to the plastidip. It looks a lot cleaner now.

Definitely doing this to my car.

Green tartan interior, you don't see that on a Civic.

The stuff I used was in an aerosol can.

So far it has held up really well. I don't drive my car a lot but it has handled a couple of track days and some weekend driving.

The dip won't really come off the rubber pieces since it's porous. You could try and take the window trim off and paint the. And reinstall them. However every time I've tried to take off the chrome window trim I end of bending them during reinstall.

This way you can paint them without removing. It stands up pretty good. The only spot showing wear is the door handles. Once the dip starts peeling you can fix it easily and on the cheap

I can't remember but I think I used 2 or 3 cans. But at first I was only going to do the metal trim. When I saw the results on the rubber around the windows I had to redo all the rubber beside the trim to make it look even. I think you could do all the trim, rubber around windows and wing with one can. Maybe need a second can on the spoiler as it was very porous and absorbed a lot of dip. I also did the bump strips on the body and windshield wipers arms(front and back) and both door handles

Just a note - I've seen Brock's car in the flesh and the Plasti-Dip looks as good as the photos suggest.
