I want to run late struts with coilovers and Koni adjustable inserts.
I know that I need late arms, most likely something custom like Racers Edge tubular ones with heim joints bushings

I would like to find BBS RS three piece wheels, probably 16 inch to clear Turbo brake calipers.I was thinking about center locks but it is out of my budget and wheels are very hard to find.

I would love those spider webs for my car but I don't know if the timing will be right with this engine swap I have going on. I can't afford to do the swap and brake upgrade at the sametime and I'm already too deep into the swap to stop now.

Problem is GTR did not came with Fuchs, they had center lock BBS,so I thinh BBS would be closer look to the original car.
My headlight kit is from here

Where are you planning to run this car?

As it turns out, we have a mutual friend. I'm going to be fixing Kevin's wrecked 951.

Yes,Kevin is my customer for few years now, super nice guy.

I raced my Datsun 510 in VSCDA group 8 and 3 I think I would stick with that class.
We can run cars up yo 1989 model year in G80 plus group so I can fit there.I would like to beat all of the Datsun Z cars but it will not be easy. Some guys running near 300hp,so I do not know if old 924 could keep up with them.It is better balanced car but it would be hard to make this much power from this little 2.0 turbo. Both cars are just over 2000 LBS in race form.

300 can be "easy", how does the rule book look like on the engine side?

I have to keep original displacement and block/head castings,I am free to the internals like cam or compression ratio.I can not have crank triggered ignition system but can upgrade existing one.I am not sure if i can run aftermarket stand alone system.

So I started cleaning up the body from the undercoating and seam sealers. It is very time consuming and boring job but saves pretty good amount of weight.I have almost all the interior done.Just started on the RH fender area.

GTR style fiberglass hood scoop.I am not too thrilled with the quality but I guess I have to live with that,it should be OK with few finishing touches.

For interior sound proofing heat gun and scraper, for fender wall just angle grinder and good wire brush.I do not want to media blasted. It is very boring and time consuming job.I think that I should save about 100lbs.This stuff is thick!

Good luck with the build! You have a lot of work ahead of you but these cars are worth it.
