Does anyone know what the differences are (if any at all) on the 931 fuel distributors from the 1980 model to the 81-82 models?

My Bosch FI catalog shows no differences, same part number for the rebuild of all. I hope that helps, guessing it will?

Got one of each. Assuming they were/are original they are identical.

Vaughan,

I have an old Bosch catalogue that shows the Mixture control unti for the Euro turbos and the GT as having apart number of 0 438 040 089 and distributor block of 0 438 100 096. The US spec cars had the following numbers 0438 040 095 for the mixture control and 0438 100 048 for the distributor block, for pre 81 car sthe mixture control unit was 0 438 040 040.

So there seesm to be a difference between the Euro and the US - maybe you could find something out as a Bosch person?

No chance there - I'm in the US, no knowledge of CIS over here, it's too old tech.
