What amount of Horse Power can the trans safely hold .Can it handle 200 hp.What is the best way to keep the CV joints alive. I ate a brand new one this weekend at Road America .Taking us out of the race.

Convert to a 5-speed from an 81-82 924 na, grab the shifter arms from the donor.
Convert to later 944 trailing arms to get access to stronger CV's and axles from 944 turbos. Watch the wheel offset, 924S arms are the easiest swap to maintain wheel offset.
81+ 924 turbo and 944/951 Audi transaxles require a torque tube and clutch disc change to work with the 2.0L NA motor, but will otherwise bolt in with the proper 5-speed shift linkage. _________________ Stefan
