Not sure what happened but (1) hope everyone is ok, and (2) it is a really good idea to seam weld those a-arms.

Morghen, I rented my race car as a favor to a friend.

Dont make the arm to stiff, its very handy to have a very cheap part that brakes instead of having to straighten out the chassie.

I hope the rest of the car is ok and that the chassie mounts arent damaged !

Oh, that sucks...

Be sure to check closely (if not obvious) for bent spindle, broken brake caliper as well, based on my experience...

Hopefully the bodywork is just a front fender?

in romania we have a saying, you never lend two things: your woman and your car

anyway, looks like no major body work is required...or?

My car came with a bent spindle. That explains its voracious appetite for wheel bearings 'till I put on my 5-lug setup.

Frame machine, hammers, bondo, paint. Should get her back this week, and due to a cut tire, I am taking the opportunity to try out a set of RRs.

When it happened, I was more worried about my buddy than the car. His face when the tow truck dropped him at the paddock was the saddest damn thing I ever saw.

Anyway, soon she'll be back to this:
