The top right picture of, I think, Vaughan's car is good. But the one on the left, the one with the Ricer fenders and TA stuck on the back, sucks wind. None of us has that car anyway and they look atrocious...
Just giving my usual, not asked for 45 cents...
No seriously, it was nice for a week or so but let's please spice it up with some pics of cars from some of our pals here! |

you'll need to talk to Vaughan about that. The big pic is automatically copied from the front page of 924.org. When Vaughan changes it on 924.org then it changes here. |

Rick the car your talking about is a 1981 924GTS. This actual car raced at both Le Mans and also at Sebring amongst other places. It was sponsored by BF Goodrich and raced on T/A radials and performed very well considering it was running road tires verus slicks that the other competiotors were running.
I personally think they look cool and I have a kit to fit to my car in the future.

Rick: To each his own. I kinda' like that picture myself, especially the fender flares. If you look closely, right near the factory gas cap, those flares make a great shelf for setting drinks on. |

IF it looked in any way objectively so good, why didn't they put the ricer fenders on a production car?
How many other good pics of 924's exist out there?
lol

Actually, the owner (who sent me the picture) has indicated that it's a GTR.
But yes, you're right, time for a rotation. I also have to get some entries added to the Register, so maybe I'll find a nice new one in there...

The new ones rock. Is the grey one on the right of the white one a 931? Or GT? |

Rick,
do you mean this one?
It's from the German site at http://home.arcor.de/handtuch/924/924fotind.htm
Most of the calendar pics can now be clicked on to see the full sized picture.
Oh, no not that one. The one from the day after
Don't remember where that came from.
