Here's a little taste of what's in store for those of you planning to come up to Michigan for the 2013 Porsche Parade.

...and now I have a fresh supply of wallpaper photos. Beautiful car and beautiful photos with beautiful scenery.

Had I been there, I would have gladly volunteered to drive back and forth across the bridge while you stood on the side waiting to snap a pic on each pass. But the car would have been blurry in the pictures.

Thanks for posting those.

Jeff

Is the $4 toll charged in both directions?

Is that a 7'' rear Fuch instead of an 8''? Needs a wider stance me thinks. Great pics though

@Paul
Yes, $4 toll; the toll plaza is on the north end of the bridge, so when heading North, you pay as you exit the bridge, and when heading South, you pay when before you get on.

@Carrera RSR & Morghen
Yes, oddly, the car seems to have come with 7x16 Fuchs all the way around. I am puzzled by this because the only options listed in PET are four 7x15, or staggered 7x16 & 8x16. As far as I can tell, this car is all original, and there's no mention of the wheels in any of the history I have on it.

The current tires are nearing the end of their life, so when it's time to replace them, I am going to make an attempt to get a pair of 8x16s for the rear. As long as I don't have to mortgage my house to get the correct 911 part numbers.

Start the mortgage process now. It WILL look best with 8'' front and 9'' rears

It may well be all original Dan, but looks like a PO has swapped the rears at some point. At least there's some comfort in value in selling a pair of 7's to put towards a wider pair.
