The 'Hoover' welded pretty good for a cast piece:-
Diffuser slot cut and just needs smoothing/blending:-
Chargecooler fitting underway - making an aluminium cradle:-
Chargecooler roughly in place:-
The small alternator in the pics is a 70A Denso weighing 2.8kg.
I have to check engine movement when it's fired up and may need to slot the charge cooler cradle fitting attached to the alternator bracket.
Hopefully this is enough pics to keep you guys happy.
I'm now trying to work out which way to go with the engine coolant radiators and the charge cooler radiator.
I think I'm going to make the badge panel removable as others have done. _________________ 1979 UK 932 |

Update...
New charge cooler rad/heat exchanger:-
Chosen for large surface area but only ~17mm thick so it won't block airflow to the main rads. _________________ 1979 UK 932 |

New vacuum manifold and used Bosch charge cooler pump - this may not get used as I've come up with a better alternative:-
