New class for ICSCC - Sport Touring.

The rules are wide open, and based around a simple 10:1 weight to RWHP formula. Engine does not even have to be original. . .can be any engine from the same manufacturer.

A lot of guys are doing this, with some very interesting cars. One of my favorite examples - bone stock C6 makes 10:1! Mustangs, M3s, 914/6 conversions, my buddy is even building an MR2!

Get that UWB on the track, Dan!

I think in the rules it requires the engine block be from the same manufacturer as the chassis.

Things are going really well with the Club Sport now, and I am pushing hard to have the D-Prod done in time to take it to Parade. So maybe, just maybe, I can re-start work on the UWB this summer!

I haven't read the link yet, but will do so later this week. But if I ever get the engine built, the UWB will exceed the 10:1 ratio substantially. The Club Sport may actually be a closer build. I hope to have numbers by late spring...

That's the beauty of it. . .there is something to be said for a race car that is a little less high strung in terms of tuning.

A 3 liter with a mild tune... in the 924 with a little weight savings... Hmmm wonder how that would work...
