maybe its not 30mm but 20mm for sure.
I have the GTS flares and they sit ~10mm under the reflect line while the CGT flares sit ~30mm under the reflect line _________________ https://www.the924.com |

is the NNT 126W car a real GTS? it has some questionable things....strange side marker, most GTS don't have a side marker...particularly like that one...rear spoiler is wrong for a GTS....regular roll up windows?? I've seen some variations of GTS' before but that one looks odd. |

The second picture/ Mittelmotor 924 is not GTS but a converted GT. _________________ 937 trackday car

The GTS rear spoiler looks complety different. One piece and at least 1" taller .
To answer your question: the GTS is wider and sits lower.
Search and you will find a previous post. Think there were pictures from the 911 magazine??? _________________ Carl Fredrik Torkildsen

NNT is a real GTS and owned by the PCGB 924 Carrera GT registrar who knows his onions when it comes to GT/GTS. That said is does have some differences including your observations plus electric mirrors, comfort interior etc. Many GTS' have customer ordered differences. _________________ 1980 931 - forged pistons, Piper cam, K27/26 3257 6.10 hybrid turbo, 951 FMIC, custom intake, Mittelmotor dizzy & cam pulley, H&S exhaust, GAZ Gold, Fuch'ed, Quaife

Yes. Good point. These were custom built to order. Ive seen some with low cut rear flares like a gt...some with a fender side marker. Also cars were often sent back to the factory for upgrades. |

hi guys,
I've been to Porsche Museum and Transaxle Treffen lately
I've managed to check the Museums CGTS and from my measures it's seems that the CGTS had a wider front fenders too.
It's about 1,5-2cm wider than the 944Turbo Cup front fender.
So maybe some one can check if CGT shares the same front fender ? |

According to the original Porsche 924 Carrera GTS manual, the GTS has front wings (translation for the German word) that are 10mm wider than the GT. But the rears are the same width. It shows 1745 mm width front and 1735 mm width rear.
This is directly out of the factory GTS manual.
"der GTS wurde an den Vorderkotflugeln um 10 mm verbreitert gegenuber dem CARRERA GT"
Translation:
The GTS was on the front wings to 10 mm wider than the Carrera GT
"Die Gesamtbreite betragt" vorn 1745 mm
hinten 1735 mm
Translation:
The overall width is front 1745 mm
rear 1735 mm
"Die vorderen Kotflugel und die StoBstange ist wie am CARRERA GT ungeschraubt"
Translation:
The front wings and fenders are like the CARRERA GT attached with screws
The Carrera GT is 1735 mm front and rear. _________________ 84 944--924 Carrera GTS clone w/520HP Chevy 302 V8--RUNNING!
