A thought just occurred to me..
If you were to unplug the boost retard can on the 931 distributor the map would look like this.. Wouldn't it?

Which is within a degree or 2 of Raceboy's maps at max boost in any boost pressure I could realistically make at those RPMs..

His numbers get lower at 2600 RPM and below for max boost but I ain't making any significant boost at that low of an RPM anyway..

Sounds crazy and dangerous, but it looks like a quick and dirty way to easily step up to Raceboy timing on boost..

If I tried it at spring pressure, 140-150kpa, then it would still be conservative by about 8 degrees compared to the Raceboy maps..

Maybe I could log 3 3rd gear pulls at spring pressure as normal, to get a good average time it takes in my logs to pull the gear and get it nice and hot, and then log one pull with the retard can unplugged and see if it decreases the time it takes to make the pull..
If it makes more power then it should logically pull the same 3rd gear sweep in less time..
