Hey guys I'm trying to get my 77 NA to finally fire up and I believe I have something wrong with my ignition setup. 77 coil plug and main wiring harness with an 80 motor and accessories/engine harness is my combo. I get a spark on all 4 plugs, distributor is set to number one plug lead and follows in correct firing order. Fuel pump relay pulled not to flood it, mechanical timing checked and verified to be correct. No amount of starting fluid or ether will get this thing to go boom. Frustrated as it doesn't make sense that it's not firing if I have 140 compression across all 4 cylinders, distributor and engine are timed right, I have a spark and there carb cleaner in it. Maybe the ballast resistors aren't letting enough voltage through? Any help is much appreciated, Cheers. _________________ 1980 931 "Salt" Bucket wannabe racer (not started)
