Been awhile since my last update.
First, about 2-3 years ago I upgraded the breaks:
-Wildwood 4 pots front break caliper with track pads
-951 4 pots rear break caliper
On my fist road test I brought the car to about 70 km/h and brake as hard as I could to see what happen, locked the 4 wheels
Next was the engine, I have been gathering parts for about 5 years to build another engine for the car. I started the building process last spring and was able to drop the engine in the car just before storing it for winter. I just finished hoking everything back together and started the engine.
-8.0:1 compression ration S2 piston with Total seal rings. My car is a S1 and had the 7.5:1 compression ration
-APR rod bolts
-3 layers MLS head gasket
-APR head bolts
-Newman performance camshaft with new followers
-Ideola garage adjustable cam gear, currently running at +3
-hybrid turbo: 2664 alu billet compressor wheel with 6.10 hot side, light weight turbine wheel and shaft, ceramic coated hot side casting.
I’m still in the break in process and don’t want to be too hard on it yet.
I’ve started with stock boost level and I’m up at 10 psi now. Will climb back up to 15 psi slowly.
So far:
-engine has more pep before boost
-exhaust note has changed, thanks to the cam
-engine push hard up to 5700 RPM, have pass this point yet

Very very cool! What made you decide the weltmeister front springs over a coil setup? Looking at both and trying to find some opinions. Cheers and beautiful car. _________________ 1980 931 "Salt" Bucket wannabe racer (not started)

Mainly because I've been running the Weltmeister 200lbs front lowering springs for about 10 years and was very happy with them. But I'm sure coil over would have been as good and they allow for adjustment. In the end, I'm happy with the result. _________________ 1976 924 N/A ROW SOLD
