All,
my 79 NA has 2 lights that are marked for the heater control in the Haynes Manual. For the life of me I can not see anywhere to place them. Anyone familiar with this? They appear to be standard lites, they would fit in a round holder just like the instruments. _________________ 1979 NA 924

I'm not sure where they sit on the older models like yours is.
The younger models do wear two of them around there:
One sticks at the rear of the Centre Console between the hazard/warning light and (optional) foglight switch.
…I'm not sure what it does …consider it a spare/optional light bulb?
The other one should fit in the rear right corner of the slider section of the HVAC Control panel
that fits on to the Centre Console, so you can read the slider settings when your lights are on.
